The Invitation.
A Wolf Fable:
Thirty years ago, Yellowstone’s ecosystem had gone quiet. To revive it, humans reintroduced a pack of wolves to their ancestral home. For decades, unchecked deer and elk had devoured the land, but with wolves hunting them, they moved to higher ground. Vegetation flourished, birds returned, and beavers built dams that brought ducks, fish, frogs, and more.
The wolves then hunted the coyotes, allowing mice and rabbits to rebound, which brought back hawks, foxes, and eagles. Even the bears returned, feeding on the revived shrubs and berries.
The most astonishing part? The wolves stabilized and literally moved the Yellowstone River. With vegetation rooting its banks, the river flowed with purpose, creating habitats that thrived together.
One simple truth stands out from this fable. If you want a life flowing with vitality and purpose, you call in the wolves.
That’s where you come in. Throughout history, leaders have stepped away from the noise and demands of the daily grind to go rediscover clarity and vision. They go in search of how they can uniquely move rivers.
You’re invited on a one-hour Vision Quest Walkabout along the Little Miami River.
The Walkabout.
This walkabout should take 45-60 minutes. You will need:
Shoes/Clothes that can get dirty (not likely, but possible).
Pen and paper (pocket journal or multiple sheets)
A lighter.
Headphones + Phone (with Google Maps)

Note: You will have to pause the track in between stops on the walkabout. I recommend “practicing” that before you go out. That way you’re not distracted by learning/doing it for the first time out on the walk. It can be especially tricky with gloves.
The coordinates and photos for each stop are below. I recommend once you get started, only pulling them up if you get totally lost (you won’t).
But, getting a little lost is part of the fun.
Make sure your phone is on Do Not Disturb. Eliminating distractions is key to the experience.
